Bid solicitation for Jail locking control system
This project involves the construction and replacement of the security electronics system for the Androscoggin County Jail. The new system will include a non- proprietary programmable logic controller (PLC) based locking control system with a computer-based control interface. The officer control station equipment will be replaced with new touch screen control workstations utilizing off the shelf software and hardware. The existing video surveillance system shall be integrated into the security system to allow for event driven camera selection. The equipment room will be upgraded with new PLC’s and relays to control locks, lights, and elevators. A digital intercom and paging system will replace the existing the intercom equipment. The field devices and wiring for intercom and locking will be tested and replaced as needed. For more information please visit
