The Androscoggin County Sheriff's Office is currently hiring for full-time Correction Officer positions. Current starting wages are $20.17 thru $23.01 an hour depending on experience in the field plus stipends for education and shift differential. Under the recently negotiated collective bargaining agreement that takes effect January 1, 2023, the pay range adjustment is $21.42 thru $28.44 an hour with credit of up to 15 years’ experience in the field plus stipends for education and shift differential.
We offer 12 hour fixed shifts (nights or days) in a fifteen day work rotation where you will have every other weekend off and be compensated for a 42 hour work week plus overtime opportunities. Androscoggin County offers medical and dental insurance, 20 year Maine State Retirement Plan, 457b plan, 13 paid holidays, Uniform Allowance and a great team working environment.

Androscoggin County is currently hiring a Director of Information Technology. The Director of Information Technology is responsible for the overall operations of the IT Department within the Androscoggin County Government and public safety entities that utilize our services. This position provides continuous leadership, administration and planning while demonstrating superior public service delivery. Services include technology planning, business applications support, network and security administration, desktop support, telephone systems support, and web services coordination. Work invoices significant engagement with County departments and public involvement with local public safety officials, elected officials, other policy makers, and citizens. Salary: $75,000.00 to $85,000.00 annually
