Androscoggin County Jail

Sheriff - Guy P. Desjardins

Inmate Telephone Information:

Officers and other staff cannot relay any message to inmates; we ask that you follow the established rules for communication.

Androscoggin County Jail accepts money for inmates in the form of money orders only. The money orders are to be made out to the inmate directly, with your name legibly written on the purchaser portion.

This will provide the inmate with funds on their inmate account, so that they may purchase phone time, this will also allow them to purchase commissary (food, hygiene items, and clothing), pay medical copay’s, haircuts, etc.

When released from incarceration the remainder of the inmate account funds will be given to them in the form of a check. If you have chosen to place money directly on the inmates phone as described below, this money will need to be refunded via offenderconnect.com and cannot be issued to the inmate upon release.

To place money on an inmate’s phone account only, go to offenderconnect.com, follow the instructions on the website. If you have any issues with the phone connection and/or phone system please call 1-888-949-3303. The Androscoggin County Jail is not responsible for losses associated with the inmate phone system.

All persons that are booked and processed into the facility are allowed an initial phone call to make bail arrangements or communicate their location. Collect calls can be made by inmates for a short period of time, before billing arrangements are required.

When the inmate is released or transferred from the facility, any remaining funds that were placed on the phone by the inmate will be transferred back on their inmate account. A check is then issued and given to them.

***If you are currently receiving phone calls from an inmate at the Androscoggin County Jail, and wish to block your phone number from our system, please contact Officer Levesque or the Jail Shift Supervisor. This process may not be able to be reversed, and may take up to 24 hours. ***
