Androscoggin County Monthly Law Enforcement Report March 2012
During the month of March 2012 the Androscoggin County Sheriff’s
Department Dispatch Center received calls for service on a total of
1,958 incidents for the municipalities of Androscoggin County. The
Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department investigated 893 incidents,
as a result of these calls they investigated 31 accidents, stopped
233 motor vehicles, and physically arrested or issued criminal
summons to 58 people. They transferred 109 incidents to the Maine
State Police and 33 incidents to the Lisbon Police Department to be
handled. The Androscoggin County Sheriff’s Department Dispatch
Center dispatched the Fire and Rescue Departments to106 incidents.
They also dispatched the Sabattus Police Department to 204
incidents, the Livermore Falls Police Department to 328 incidents,
and the Mechanic Falls Police Department to 266 incidents. Attached
is a breakdown of the statistics by municipality for March 2012.
Maine State Police was responsible for responding to complaints in
the Municipalities of Durham, Greene, Leeds, and Wales during the
month of March and we do not have their statistics.
The following statistics are the number of incidents that
were reported through our Dispatch Center either by E911, regular
telephone lines or radio.
